It’s not necessary to film Star Wars or draw One Piece to create a world. The truth is, every task we pour our hearts into holds a brand-new world within it. Whether it’s our daily work, a carefully prepared meal at home, or a post shared on social media, we create objects, systems, and personal styles—all of which bring a world into existence.
But once the world is created, does that mean we can rule over it as we please, like a tycoon commanding their luxury resort? It doesn’t seem that way. Instead, we often find ourselves grappling with the worlds and systems we’ve built, wondering how to make them better. If the balance is off, the boundary between ourselves and the world we’ve created begins to blur, leaving us caught between creator and participant, seeking harmony.
